Sinoc sam skuhao saison, ubacio MJ French Saison M29 kvasac oko 23h, evo vec sada vidim da vrenjaca solidno izbacuje CO2. Preporucena temperatura mu je 26-32°C, ubacio sam kvasac bez rehidracije u sladovinu na 26°, OG je bio 1.056, trenutna temp u fermentoru je 27,5°... vidjecemo na koliko ce stati..

Juče vidim da je prestala aktivnost na vrenjači, a jutros izmjerim gravity i dobijem 1.005.
Brz kvasac, nema šta....

Nije bilo secera, evo recepta - ja sam ga sklepao od onoga sto imam od sirovina i onoga sto sam citao po netu da ide u saison, jedino sam ubacio malo vise hmelja ali nisam mogao odoliti. Beersmith nema M29 French Saison u bazi pa sam kao kvasac u recept stavio WLP590, mislio sam da ce biti slicni efekti...

Naletim na netu podatak da Mangrove Jack's M10 kvasac odlicno fermentira na 25-27 stepeni, ne ostavljajuci nikakve 'artefakte' u ukusu.

Odlucim da probam kako to izgleda, jer imam stabilnih 25 u podrumu, taman da malo ustedim na struji za komoru Smile)).

Narucim dve kesice, da probam, kad ono prodavac se zeznuo i poslao mi dve kesice M05, koji uopste nije za pravljenje piva nego medovace.

Pa kad je vec kvasac tu, ima li neko dobar recept za medovacu ? Smile

to sto pise na kesici 25-27C nemoj uzimati zdravo za gotovo. a medovinu imas moj recept koji sam stavio u podforum medovina. a osim njega imas jos dosta recepata po internetu. u sustini kako god da je napravis, minimum godinu dana lezanja nakon fermentacije i nekoliko pretakanja s kvasca.

Na vise mjesta po stranim forumima sam naisao na informaciju da neki homebreweri fermentiraju ale-ove sa M10 kvascem na temperaturama od 22 pa do cak 27 stepeni. To mi je privuklo paznju iz prakticnih razloga (manjak kapaciteta u komori) pa sam htio da uradim eksperiment sa istom sladovinom, paralelno stavljenom u 2 fermentora, jednu sa US-05 u fermentacionoj komori sa kontrolisanom temperaturom, drugu sa M10 ostavljenu na temperaturi prostorije (22-25 je temperatura podruma u ljetnom periodu).

Cekam da mi dodje narucen ispravan kvasac pa cu uraditi taj eksperiment.

Probaj, ali čisto sumnjam da možeš dobiti na 25-27C neki profil sličan APA pivu ili bilo kakvo 'čisto' pivo. Ali naravno probaj pa nam javi Smile

Koristio njihov Burton Ale i zastopalo na 1:020 vec tri dana. Kvasac ubacen u utorak cini mi se. Pivo bistro, odlican okus jedino preslatko...

Ako se nista ne desi do sutra ubacicu jos neki dodatni kvasac.

Zadnje kuhanje (pale ale) zacinio sa Mangrove Jacks Liberty bell kvascem, rehidriran, u roku trajanja, ostali parametri u granicama, zakovao na 1.016, tresao fermentor par puta ali nece nize.

Piva je danas otisla na cold crash pa ce se kegirati za par dana. Uzorci koje sam uzimao su prilicno mutni. Vidjecemo kakav ce biti ukus...
