Pours in dark body, with ruby color againts the light. The head is creamy, long lasting, tan. Aroma has caramel to dark candy in the front with weak alcohol notes. Taste has toffee notes, liquorice. Sweet balance, light biterness in the after taste, from noble to earthy. Body is light, low carbonation. Palate is little bit boring.
Pours a deep red brown, modest carbonation. Lots of toffee and dark sugar on the nose, deeper tinge of alcohol. Maybe too sweet? Some raison and biscuit but the sweetness does dominate.
App.: Ruby mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma: Very yeasty, fairly sweet, a touch minty, some nice dark dried fruitiness, a bit floral/perfumed, brown sugar, nice. Palate: Medium body, loose effervescence. Flav.: Sweet, brown sugar, minty herbals, a bit of butterscotch, toffee notes, dark dried fruits, yeast, nice enough; lightly sweet with limited bitterness, a touch of brightness and a slightly boozy, sweet, fruity finish.
